This is Chief. He is a Mammoth Jack. Otherwise known as a big donkey. He doesn't look that big, but he is actually a lot bigger than the average donkey. When he breeds to our draft mares, the babies will be draft mules. We are expecting a few of them early next summer. They should be very interesting little babies!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that your camera friends liked that picture for the "picture" elements, because the whole caption underneath was funny to me and didn't make a lot of sense to me! I just sat here and laughed for no reason other than it sounded funny! :-) I miss our lunchtime laughs!!!!
