Keep them. Share them. Protect them.

"She glances at the photo, and the pilot light of memory flickers in her eyes." {Frank DeFord}

That is my favorite photography quote, because I feel that's exactly what happens. One look at a photo can take us right back to the very moment it was snapped or allow us to imagine what it was like to be there. Photographs tell us a story. They inspire us. They bring beauty to our homes and our lives. They keep our memories alive.

This video does a beautiful job of describing exactly that. It is sponsored by Kodak, and is about 5 minutes long, but it is well worth the time to watch it. It made me smile, it gave me chills and it brought a tear to my eye. I hope you will enjoy it as well. Please feel free to share your reaction in a comment.

Inspiration from Will Smith

I don't usually post anything other than photography here on my blog, but I saw this YouTube video on Digital Pro Talk, a blog that I follow, and it really made an impression on me, so I thought I'd share it here. It's kind of lengthy, but well worth the time. Good stuff. So grab a cup of coffee or a cold drink, sit back, and enjoy.
