When I take my morning walk, I pass a hay meadow along the way. Each week it seems there are a whole new variety of wildflowers blooming, and I keep telling myself I'm going to go for an evening stroll with my camera and get some pictures of them. Today I finally did. I don't know for sure what these are, but they are all over the meadow. It is just beautiful. These photos are straight out of the camera - no Photoshop magic, just the real thing.

What great light you took these lovely flowers in.
ReplyDeleteAnd the sight of that many horses running toward me would scare my lil suburban self right out of the field!
Love the flowers, Lou. Theykinda remind me of the foxgloves I posted, but they aren't those. If you can turn each individual blossom in a different direction and it stays turned, then it could be physotegia (sorry, don't know the regular name...) Love seeing your babies come running. That light is so dreamy on them!!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought the flowers were foxgloves, too (thanks to Pat for confirming that!). Those horses are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThose horses are just gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. Love the flowers, but I think I love horses more, LOL.
ReplyDeletewish I still had mine.
Oh wow....its hard to say what is more lovely. Both have such a divine warmness and quiet about them. Really amazing photos.
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought of foxgloves too, could they just be
ReplyDeletea different variety. ?
Love the evening light in the horse photo and the way they are running towards you, Lou. Beautiful shot. !!
