The Old Fashioned Way

These are a couple of pics from the Heritage Day back in October. I pulled them up and played around with them a little bit.

If he could, Mike would do this all the time. He loves his horses, and loves working them. His idea of a good time when he retires is to hitch the horses and use them to feed cattle, bale hay, and anything else he can do around the farm while riding along behind his team.

His favorite team, Kate & Allie, along with baby Spud. Little Spud just tags along wherever his mommy goes. By the time he's old enough to be broke to hitch, he'll already have quite an education. He's traveled many miles with these mares. He's even been in a parade.
On both of these I ran the Hazy Days action, and added some textures to give them more of an old-fashioned feel.

  3. These are great! LOVE the coloring in them, and the textures give a really nice vintage feeling- like they very well could have been shot back in the 1800s. BEAUTIFUL horses too... I LOVE horses! :)
